ITM provides turn-key workshops for your organization to train staff, educators, community leaders, homeowners, or your target audience. ITM organizes the workshop event, provides a registration database, supplies the workshop materials including advertisements and invitations, and provides the knowledgeable facilitator.

Living on the Edge Community Leader Workshops
Workshop attendees learn the special wildland fire issues in the wildland/urban interface. They learn about basic fire ecology, the factors involved in fire risk assessment, and fuel reduction methods. Interactive exercises allow participants to practice evaluating and modifying an existing community at risk and to learn how to design, build, and maintain Firewise communities.

How to Have a Firewise Home Homeowner Workshops
As we build closer to scenic, forested areas, homes and businesses may be at risk to wildfire damage. At this workshop, homeowners will learn simple, cost-effective ways to lessen these risks. The presentation includes information about protecting homes and families if a wildland fire strikes and materials to take home and share with community members about maintaining Firewise homes and communities.

Wildfire Prevention Educator Workshops
This workshop trains teachers about wildfire issues and shows them how to integrate the wildfire prevention program into their curriculum. Participants receive a free interactive CD-ROM with a Teacher's Guide correlated to state standards, a wonderful breakfast and lunch, and information about a fun way to teach science, math, language arts, and social studies. Some participants will also qualify to receive a $50.00 stipend for sharing the information with peers.
